Don't Die We Are Still Alive!

So a quick up date we are still here! Life is more of the same kids, school, school finally out, work, own pratice, employees, family, friends, kids, I want to mom please ...., having fun all the time! Wouldn't trade it for the world and I love where we live! Our kids play outside until dark or later! Thanks for all the things we have been given! Hope this finds all of you well to!

Summer!

A quick up date we have had a wild and crazy summer and it's not over yet! School here starts 2 weeks later than usual and I am going to go crazy! My kids are sick of my orders and I am sick of them fighting! any suggestions! Oh and by the way we bought a new house and have spent most of the summer moving!

We Exist!!

Ok so it has been two months since I posted last and what have we been up to!

Well where do I start we will do February! On the 13th Dave and I went to Guatemala a little humanitarian work 9 days of R & R for us! Ha ha:)

It was an awesome trip many friends were made, many teeth extracted (1500ish) and many fillings (300ish) done! Many people out of pain! We had 9 dentists this year and 2 hygienists it was an awesome trip!

When we left Guatemala we didn't realize that when we got home we were off to the races!

Sami and Jordan have been clogging and we had competition and then we had an in office training 6 days of great learning and we have learned a ton! Thanks Jeanne! And yep we are already in to March!

Then comes Sami she signed up for Swiss Miss while Dave and I were gone! Thanks Mom for letting her! She had practice once or twice a week for the month of March. When it came down to the end of the month Nana and Grandpa Ab took Jordan and Hunter to see Paden and family in Phoenix! Thanks for the help Mom I got a ton done! Lindsie thanks for tending the kids for a week we are still waiting for Slim to come our way!

Any way Swiss Miss is a local pageant for the girls to represent the community for Swiss Days! She didn't win but had an awesome job and has had a great attitude and learned a lot! As for April we are taking all the kids and returning to Phoenix for a few days to Nana and grandpa's house! To help with the remodel! Thanks for letting us go Mom!

We are all well and just staying busier than I ever thought possible!

It worked!

Hi it has been a while but to say the least the last month or so has been straight busy! But Dave and I got away for a weekend of training in California! It was get is rained the first 3 days! Glad we were in class!

So to sum up some of the last few weeks the kids have all yes all had strep throat! Ya me! Well Dave went one night and I left the next morning and yep Dave got the strep! I got a text a 2 am wishing for keflex! I took it but he still had the cold and the next night about 2 a.m. he said I need an alcohol rag! (explain my great grandma used to be a nurse so she learned the if you put rubbing alcohol on a sock usually a gym one and a men's they are longer then add some water to finish it off not to much alcohol it will over power you! Anyway then tie it or pin it around you neck it will calm the for ever hacking cough that you get at night! Yes Dave thought I was crazy the first time I suggested after we got married he does believe now!)well back to my story! So I went to the front desk to see if they had alcohol not the liquor one either we had left Utah! Well all the had was the little prep wipes that you use when when you get a shot but with about 15 of them some water and two socks and a paperclip as a safety pin we got it he slept like a baby! Glad my Great grandma taught me that trick! Hope all is well at your house and that everyone in your house doesn't get sick like mine!

Hi!

OK, so when I created this blog it was to help me keep some type of journal and keep in touch with all of our friends that are so far away! So far it has been a weird tribute to different things in life and a tribute to one of the most wonderful men in my life! Well I can say that time has dulled the pain but by no means has it even began to take it away! Today I had to teach the young women and believe it or not it was on change! Man I don't like change! Well I tried to talk myself out of teaching the lesson and going down the road of Christmas but just couldn't! OK really the lesson was for me I learned a ton! The one thing that I found was that the only guarantee in life is that there will always always be change! The other thing I talked about was the children's book about the caterpillar that changes into a butterfly! I read that if we were as the caterpillar willing to submit our lives just like the caterpillar to the lord! He will make us into the beautiful butterfly! I have had hard time with that but at this point I will do what ever the lord wants me to do! I am at his mercy he has helped me with so much! I am not sure that it is fair for me to do this to him!

The other day Dave and I had a discussion about helping others that are in need and giving what we can to lighten there load! Something that my parents are masters at and something that I want to be better at! More along the lines of submitting myself unto the Lord! So at this time of year of Thanksgiving I am so thankful for all things that I have! I love my Husband with all my heart and could have never made it through the last few months without him! I am thankful for my children they are the world to me! They keep me humble and on my toes! I am thankful for the ability I have to live where I do and to have family so close! I am thankful for my mom she has the most amazing strength and when you are with her you feel the spirit really near Thanks mom! With out you who would cut such awesome Christmas Trees and keep me grounded and remind me that the Lord loves us just as much as you and Dad love us! I am also Thankful for having such great parents that have made a most amazing impact on a community! I am thankful to be able to call them mom and dad! Thanks for letting me be your daughter! Thanks to all of you for your love and support! Without all of you I would not make it through each day! Thank you! Thank you! I love you all!

Dave, Thanks for being the most wonderful husband in the world! Sami thanks for being the best you and being my daughter! Jordan thanks for reminding that those who have passed on are never that far away! Hunter thanks for adding a splash of all boy in my life showing me how fun it is to have a great little man in my house!

In Loving Memory!!

Well we have had a week that I soon won't forget and really don't want to live through again. On Friday September 12, 2008. My dad Mark Kohler Passed from this life after some unexpected turn of events! For those unaware he was involved in a construction accident on the 26th of August and never recovered from that! Dad I will miss you the kind thoughts, the great hugs, your giant hands and your quick wit! You are one of my best friends and your wisdom will never be forgotten We miss you and we will love you forever! Please help us teach or children to be as wounderful as you with all the christ like atributes that you had! LOVE YA and will miss you forever! God Be with you until we meet again! Love Always Angie

In Loving Memory!

What A Week!!

Just a quick so you know some of you have heard that my Dad (this is Angie) was in an accident that involved serious head injury! Any way he is doing well the have put in a drain on his brain and it has held his brain pressures at a great pace! He is in ICU and at this point they don't have a plan as to how long! He is doing great in the respect that for critical patient you can say he is stable! I haven't had much sleep so if this is random I am sorry! He has injuries to the head broken C2 vertbre and a broken right temperal bone Sorry for the spelling no sleep and medical terms don't mix. He looks great and is doing great they are starting to take him out of the coma that they put him in and are feeding him trough a tube! It is a wait and see at this point. I will try to keep you posted as I know more! Thanks for all the calls and care and prayers We feel totally loved by our family, friends and also the Lord! I was reading a blog of some friend from dental School and her quote of the day totally hit home! So i am stealling it from her Thanks Tonya!

PS. All of my kids went to school for a while today! So I was supposed to be home alone and get stuff done but took my neice and nephew instead someday? But it was a great supprise for Hunter who wasn't sure about school in the first place! Pictures to come

Bath Time WAY To Early In The Day!!

Today Jordan and Hunter were bored and watching TV so I suggested that they get in the tub! I got them out and was talking to my Mom on the phone when I heard water turn on for most this is no big deal but for us currently we have NO GRASS all Dirt we have been working on the Yard all summer! New sprinklers and now new grass welll lets just say we have mud with the least little bit of water. Even the Vet today when I took the dog was concerned about her eyes and that her eye lashes were scratching her eyes. I informed her all we had was dirt for grass and it has only been since then that the problem has surfaced. Then she said if it doesn't get better come in and we will sudate yes put her to sleep to fix it. She is crazy! well back to the kids so here are some photos from just filling water balloons just after the tub! Yes Jordan hasn't even brushed her hair!

Summer

Summer has been fun! For summer we have worked on putting in a sprinkling system,and gone up to the state park fishing, and I have worked for my great grandpa ab, and for the fourth of July I went to the stadium of fire.The fire works were cool I loved them. At the stadium the blue man group and Miley Cyrus performed.

Hi this is Sami. My mom already told you that I was going to help with the blog. So I decided to type my own post. I will be ten on Saturday June 7th. I can't wait. I have 1 brother named Hunter, and 1 sister named Jordan.Hunter is 3 and Jordan is almost 6.Hunter loves shooting my bow, hunting, going on four wheeler rides, flying dads plane, and any thing that's boy. Jordan loves making up songs, dress ups, and any thing girl. Well I better go. BYE

With many asking when are you going to start a blog I am not sure is the answer. But with family moving away and Sami agreeing to help keep it up then I agreed. So here we go. As you may know we are still living in Midway and have three great kids who will turn 10 on Saturday and yes I am getting old! So I may have posts that are few and far between but hey we do exist!
